  • A Thousand Birds of Hope Harpley June 2025 (11 photos)

    "A Thousand Birds of Hope" is a community project led by artist Patricia Stewart in partnership with St Lawrence Church, Harpley.
    Visit the Church between 7th and 15th June to see the artwork, to listen to the music and speakers inspired by birds and flight
    and enjoy some refreshment - 10 - 4.00pm.

    This is a fundraising event to maintain our beautiful and ancient building.

    After two years of Covid, we were so pleased to have Christmas in Church with a tree festival at Gayton St Nicholas too.

  • Benefice visit to Ely Sept 2019 (18 photos)

    A day out in Ely for 40 of others with a guided tour of the Cathedral and time to visit the town.
    Later that evening, Revd. Sue was commissioned as the Bishop of Ely's Officer for Schools' Mission in a special service of evensong with the girls choir.

  • East Walton History Festival 2019 (44 photos)

    East Walton's history came alive with Saxons, Vikings, Romans, Medieval people, Tudors, Napoleonic soldiers and Second World War re-enactments along with a variety of stalls and a fabulous cakes tent. It was a celebration to mark the end of a great deal of refurbishment work done on the Church with help from the Heritage Lottery Fund, The National Churches Trust and further support from The Norfolk Churches Trust, The Round Tower Society, The Garfield Weston Foundation, and The Geoffrey Watling Charity. June 2019.

  • Last Night of the Proms 2017 (18 photos)

    The Bilton (Rugby) Silver Band performed a spectacular night of Proms music in St Botolph's Church, Grimston. It was a thrilling evening and greatly helped raise funds for the Organ refurbishment.
