St Andrew's, Congham Bible Exhibition and Talk

View the exhibition and enjoy coffee and cake for £3.50 at 10.30 -12.00 pm. The Exhibition remains open from 2.00 - 5.00 pm but at 3.00 pm there will be a talk by Simon Sykes who is Vice Principal and Librarian at Tyndale House in Cambridge.

The Bible is the world's best selling book of all time and there are thousands of editions and translations into many languages. We are planning an exhibition of Bibles in Congham church and welcome any offers of Bibles to be included in the display, for example, family Bibles, illustrated bibles, editions in different languages.
Please contact the Churchwardens Hilary Scase (tel 600550) or Helen Lilley (tel 600153) by Monday 30th October who will arrange collection.

On Saturday 4th November we are privileged to welcome Simon Sykes, the Vice Principal and Librarian of Tyndale House in Cambridge who will give a talk at 3pm in the church. Tyndale House has the most comprehensive research library of biblical texts in the country if not the world. Simon will be talking about the work of Tyndale House and also bringing with him some very ancient texts.
There will be plenty of time to ask Simon questions after his talk and refreshments will be available.
